Netsuite CRM has the power to manage your enterprise funnel

Well-balanced with leads and sales in the same tool, Netsuite CRM offers a great package for medium to larger companies looking for a reliable tool to manage accounts that are easy to roll into their sales stack.

Netsuite CRM is used in medium (51-1,000 employees) and enterprise companies (1000+ employees).

The good:

Probably the best feature with this customer management system is the integration will all of the other powerful Netsuite tools. Using this CRM with the enterprise resource tool and their ecommerce software, a big selling point for larger companies and online sellers.

The software is setup for global practice and helps keep your finances in line with multinational regulations (another huge win for big business).

Loads of add-on apps to help you enhance the tools ability even further.

The bad:

The interface is a mixed bag. Some love it and some don’t care for it at all.

There are no payroll options available and Netsuite doesn’t have a tool to add-on, so another solution is necessary.

How it works:

Netsuite CRM is one of the products in Netsuite ERP although with a little navigating on the website it can be purchased alone. As a standalone product, Netsuite CRM checks all the right boxes when it comes to features and comes with a clean, relatively intuitive interface.

Everything you expect from a CRM solution is present with tons of contact management options to customize the system to your liking. There are detailed views that let you see everything from a contact’s history on your website to their role within their company. You can see any problems they might have had with your business, if any of your employees assisted them and you can even check if they are repeat customers.

Each customer gets their own portal that displays any contact interactions they’ve had with your business into a visual timeline. There are plenty of security features for contacts as well, you can restrict customer information to one specific employee, a group, or the entire organization.

There are a few handy integrations included like emailing. Netsuite CRM lets you send out individual emails or send out a whole campaign at once. You could write up an invoice or refund right from the program and send it out all from within the program. There’s also the ability to call out right from the program as well, but you’ll need a compatible phone program in place.

Getting data into Netsuite CRM isn’t an issue, they make it easy to import contact information from a bunch of different file types including spreadsheets. If you had a different CRM program that isn’t an issue either, Netsuite CRM can convert and save it into the new system.

Netsuite CRM also offers an e-commerce application that joins your CRM suite and your website together. You can track what web pages clients view the most, or the longest and that data automatically imports into Netsuite CRM.

From there you can run reports on the information or construct forecasts to help your business grow. The tracking is pretty extensive, if you have a method for information collection on your website Netsuite CRM will automatically use that but if not it can still track the visitors by IP address and watch where they go and how long they stay on your site. All of this is packaged up nicely and sent over to sales to look at and use in future campaigns.

Netsuite CRM included a number of features managers in larger organizations. You can keep tabs on your employees and watch their workflows, task-completion ratio and generate reports on progress or completion. Each employee gets their own calendar and there’s a communal calendar as well for everyone to keep track of what the team is up to.

In addition to the normal walkthroughs Netsuite offers built into the program, another unique feature they offer is to insert your own help tutorials as well. You could help speed up the onboarding process with your own procedures and policies, create links and even upload your own documents.

The cool part about Netsuite CRM is how easy it can be to use. There’s going to be a learning curve, as you would expect from any CRM platform, but the program has a clean interface that makes it pretty easy to navigate through. All of the text fields have a prompt you can scroll over to tell you what they keep track of.

If you purchase Netsuite as part of the ERP package, it also comes with a multitude of other tools for marketing. You can track sales successes, make new marketing campaigns, send out receipts, watch your product inventory and more.

There’s a mobile app available for team members on the road for both Android and iOS. In addition, the entire Netsuite CRM website is mobile optimized, so if you have a larger tablet you can get the full experience.

The only real downsides to Netsuite are the lack of a chat support feature, you’re stuck with phone or email, and there’s no social-media tracking feature. If you have tech-savvy clients that prefer to use twitter to communicate with you, you’re going to run into issues trying to keep track of interactions in Netsuite CRM. There’s also no local solution, the only option is Software as a Service through the cloud.

Like many enterprise scale CRM solutions, Netsuite CRM doesn’t offer any information about pricing anywhere on the website – there aren’t any plans or pricing options anywhere to be found. Instead, they offer a demo of the system online and have a link that encourages you to set up a free consultation so a representative can call you and set up a personalized demo.

Although it doesn’t have quite as many support options, Netsuite CRM is a great option that can handle all of your demands no matter the size of your organization.
