Ontraport is one of the better advanced marketing automation platforms that offer marketing capabilities for lead generation, ecommerce payments, email and CRM. Recommended for companies looking to bring all their marketing and business operations under a single, integrated platform (and to track and deliver performance).

The software offers website and landing page creation, lead management through smart forms and CRM, marketing automation, as well as shopping and payment management.

The good:

For such a complete and well-though software solution, Ontraport is a steal at $79/mo for a basic plan.

What I like most is the combination or marketing functionality and business automation, that gives you a great overview of your entire business.

The new addition of landing pages and forms is essential and I’m glad they’ve included it in the platform.

The bad:

Ontraport could have a better UI. Could look more intuitive and less linear.

Also, you can’t edit tags which is a bit annoying.

Ontraport is great piece of software that manages to combine all the key feature you could possibly need to get started with an online business and manage its day-to-day operations and marketing.

The software is highly intuitive, with a reasonably steep learning curve, as it happens with most marketing automation solutions. It provides you with the tools to create an attractive website, manage content and generate leads using data capturing forms and a sales CRM system, nurture those leads through email marketing, and SMS marketing, and track how well your conversion efforts are going and how your customers are feeling.

Let’s start with the website and landing page creation functionality. Ontraport helps you build personalized landing pages that are optimized for viewing on any device, desktop or mobile, called ONTRApages.

You can design your own template or select one from the available marketplace, which gives you access to free and for-purchase ONTRApages, ONTRAmail, and ONTRAforms templates. If you’ve created a remarkable template you can even submit it to the marketplace for sale.

Ontraport integrates with WordPress, enabling you to launch a new WordPress site or manage an existing one from within the platform.

Using this integration, you can also create membership sites, where users can login, see their purchase history, print invoices, and update their credit card and contact information. The software offers unlimited access levels, permission settings, and personalization.
