10-second breakdown:
Focused on the smaller guys, Salesnet is a great CRM software solution that offers you tons of custom sales workflows to get the process down perfect for your business needs.
SalesNet is used in small (0-50 employees) and medium (51-1,000 employees) companies.
The good:
Versatile and simple. Salesnet was made for entrepreneurs and smaller business owners that don’t have all day to work on their sales process. This tool allows you to track what you need to sell more and treat your current clients better.
Incredibly friendly and responsive customer service crew that will help you resolve issues.
A software that genuinely helps reps close more and keep track of everything so well that they will want to input their end of the data.
The bad:
There is no accounting functionality with this CRM, a potential problem for those seeking a more holistic option.
There isn’t a mobile app as of now, and mobile access could be called sketchy.
How it works:
Focused on the smaller guys, Salesnet is a great CRM software solution that offers you tons of custom sales workflows to get the process down perfect for your business needs.
In the past, Salesnet had a pretty clunky interface but they recently updated it to make the entire system more approachable for the average Joe. Salesnet comes with everything you think of with CRM systems, they help sales with leads, opportunities, accounts and contacts. They can help your marketing with campaigns, emails, Mobile CRM and document attachments and provide plenty of customization options to make things work the same way you do.
Beloved by many a sales specialist, the real meat of Salesnet is in its sales force automation designed to help streamline effective sales practices. The cool part is they don’t go overboard with this, it would be very easy to throw everything they could possibly think of onto their ‘Process Builder’ but a focus on user interaction means it’s both feature rich and relatively easy to work with.
The Process builder is quite flexible but really shines when you apply it to ensure consistent procedures are taken every time you get a new opportunity or account. You can set specific actions for different sales representatives or mix opportunities based on the type of opportunity.
There’s a lot more to customize then just the Process Builder, Salesnet lets you customize the application to reflect your business. You can rename fields to use your terminology, create brand new fields and even display your own company logo instead of the Salesnet logo. All of the modifications can be done on the fly, and you don’t need to know any coding to make it your own. We’ll discuss this more when we get to the packages, but these features are included in all price points, something almost all of the competition can’t boast.
One thing to note, Salesnet doesn’t offer any kind of customer service feature or module. The sales and marketing tools are top-notch but if you need this for your customer service department to track support tickets or run a self-help library you won’t find what you need here.
Salesnet offers plenty of training options if you want to learn a little more about the program. It goes well beyond helping you get adjusted to the program when you first purchase their suite, they host private webinars and can even send a trained professional to you for on-site training.
Pricing for Salesnet is very simple and transparent. While there isn’t any kind of a free plan, they do offer a 30 day trial with no credit card necessary. In addition, Salesnet offers a unique service they call ‘Professional Services.’ They understand that implementing CRM software into your workflow is a difficult and stressful process for many companies, so they offer an implementation package that can help your onboarding process to be as painless as possible.
The Professional Services are quite extensive and includes things like cleaning up your data to import it into the system, dashboard setup, report setup and lots more. If the thought of getting started with your CRM software is as terrifying as it is exciting, Salesnet can take the heavy lifting to help keep your blood pressure down.
Salesnet trimmed down the sales process to three different packages and they make it very easy to pick which one is best for your organization. First up is the ‘Express’ plan, it’s the cheapest at $25 per user per month but has a limit of 5 users. If you have a tiny team, this is one of the best options in the entire industry, it comes with everything you’re going to need in a CRM suite and some handy extras competitors leave out at this price point like the custom fields we discussed earlier and an email marketing system.
The next package is ‘Professional,’ it costs $50 per user per month and doesn’t require any maximum or minimum number of users. It comes with everything Express offers but adds in a bunch of integration options. You get some more email marketing options like scheduling emails out, Microsoft Office integrations and their Web Services API to bring in any third party software you might be already using.
You’re going to have to give Salesnet a call for the pricing on their last package, the ‘Enterprise’ level doesn’t list it on their website. They do mention Enterprise comes with dedicated support and enhanced security options so if you’re a larger organization with a bunch of different user roles it might be worth your time to give them a ring!
With excellent pricing, especially for tiny teams, and loads of customization options, Salesnet is a strong CRM software. It has plenty of features that companies of any size should take a look but will appeal especially to smaller organizations, especially with their on-boarding assistance.
